I'm Andrea — a pharmacist, a grandmother of four, and someone who spent over 30 years working with chemical formulations before I decided to do something about the ones sitting under every sink in America.
This is the story of why GreenArgen exists.
The Problem I Couldn't Ignore
Working in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, I understood exactly what goes into conventional cleaning products. Many of the ingredients are effective — but the packaging is indefensible. We're shipping heavy plastic bottles filled mostly with water, across thousands of miles, so they can be used once and thrown away.
When my grandchildren were born, that became personal. I didn't want to leave them a world drowning in single-use plastic. And I knew enough about chemistry to know there was a better way.
What We Built
Together with my husband Alejandro — who has decades of experience in raw material sourcing across Asia, Europe, and the US — we set out to create products that work just as well as conventional cleaners, but leave almost no trace behind.
Concentrated, water-soluble tablets. Biodegradable laundry sheets. Refillable glass bottles. Compostable mailers. Every decision we make is designed to reduce waste without reducing performance.
What GreenArgen Means to Us
GreenArgen isn't just a business. It's the answer to a question we've been asking our whole careers: what if the products we use every day were designed with the planet in mind from the start?
More than 100,000 households have joined us. And every refill, every sheet, every reusable bottle is proof that people are ready for better options — they just need someone to make them.
That's what we're here for.
